Counselor- in-Training (entering 9th and 10th Grade)
Full Day (9am-4pm)
CITs...helping hands make all the difference.
Counselors-in-Training learn the value of responsibility and they experience the joys of working with children through interactive activities.
- Two year CIT program has a certification process that exposes our CIT's to almost every aspect of being a camp counselor.
- CIT's also participate in daily activities specifically for teenagers.
- Daily supervised free time with the kids in your age group.
- Weekly off campus trips to destinations like: Six Flags, Rock Climbing Gym, and Jones Beach.
- Upon successful completion of the two year program which requires a minimum of four weeks each summer, CIT's will receive a certificate of completion. This will assist CIT's in seeking a future job, possibly even one as a Buckley Camp counselor.
